Our Nordic Walking Beginners Workshops are a fun single 90-minute session. During your session, you will learn the INWA 10 steps of Nordic Walking. You won't need anything as such for this course as poles are provided. Just turn up in clothing to suit the weather, we recommend trainers rather than walking boots but not essential at this stage.

During the session, your Instructor will also give you information about the different Nordic Walks that we offer, how to book them, how our Booking System works as well as information about the benefits available to you if you choose to become a Walk Kernow Member.
There is plenty of time to ask questions during the session and also after over coffee in the cafe. If there is anything worrying you about starting to Nordic Walk with us please do get in touch and don't forget you don't need to be fit to Nordic Walk.
NB Although we do not cancel for wet weather for our Nordic Walks, our Beginners Workshops are postponed for very wet/windy weather as it makes it very hard to teach and very uncomfortable for you. You will be contacted by phone as soon as possible for any postponement.
