I've walked with Kelly for many years and particularly enjoy the full and half day walks. We've been to some amazing places that I've never visited before, despite living in Cornwall my entire life. We always have a good natter, some great laughs and it's wonderful to meet new walkers. I find nordic walking helps my mental wellbeing which is such an important part of any activity. Kelly is passionate about what she does, a warm, patient instructor.

In 2012, after realising the profound benefits of Nordic Walking, Kelly Bennett established Walk Kernow. This unique walking technique, using poles, not only helped her lose weight it provided her with physical strength and was also beneficial to her mental health. Inspired to share these benefits, she created Walk Kernow. It's more than just a walking club; it's a friendly community where you can meet new friends.

Different walks to suit all abilities
If you're new to Nordic Walking and seek a gentle introduction, these 30-minute strolls are perfect for you. With no obstacles or hills, they're especially suitable for those needing additional support.
Explore new terrains with our 1-hour Easy Nordic walk. Although it may contain gentle hills and stiles, we'll take them at a relaxed pace, allowing you to gradually build fitness and agility.
These moderate Nordic Walks offer a brisk pace and may include hills and other obstacles. But don't worry, we never leave anyone behind. Your instructor/walk leader will ensure the pace suits the group on the day, providing a challenging yet inclusive experience.
These Walks offer the same pace as our Level 3 Walks but introduce additional challenges such as significant hills or stiles. These adventures are designed to push your fitness, ranging from a 2-hour walk to a half or full-day adventure.
