Qualified & First Aid trained Walk Leaders & Nordic Walking Instructors
Walk Kernow was set up in 2012 by Kelly Bennett after personally experiencing the benefits that Nordic Walking can give. Kelly wanted to share her love for walking along with its physical and mental health benefits. Walk Kernow has also become a place for Walk Kernow Members to socialise & enjoy other activities too, making Walk Kernow a whole fitness, wellbeing and lifestyle group.

Different walks to suit all abilities
WALK LEVEL 1
If you’re looking for a gentle walk to get you started these walks are the ones for you. A short steady 30-minute walk without obstacles or hills.
WALK LEVEL 2
You can explore new places with this 1-hour gentle walk, without stiles but may contain gentle hills that we take at a slower pace as we build our fitness.
WALK LEVEL 3
Our most popular paced walks discovering new places and meeting new people whilst keeping fit both physically & mentally - just come and have fun for an hour or so!
WALK LEVEL 4
Level 4 Walks are at the same pace as our Walk Level 3, however, this walk may have challenges such as big hills or stiles. This is an adventure of a walk to push your fitness.

NORDIC WALKING FOR BEGINNERS
Our Nordic Walking Beginners Workshops are a fun session run by one of our qualified INWA* instructors which last approximately 90 mins. During the session, you will learn the 10 steps of Nordic Walking, and the correct techniques to get the most out of your walk. You won't need anything as such for this session as poles are provided and the price includes your own new straps. Your new straps can also be used with our hire poles on future Nordic Walks with us.
